Digital Radar Type Water Level Recorders are widely used in dams, rivers, lakes etc. for measuring the water level . These water level sensors are attached to the data logger for the collection of real time data and information by receiving and evaluating the echoic signals reflected by the fluid. The acquired data are then transferred to the computer system through a portable data shuttle. Data loggers have 16x1 alphanumeric display and 4x2 membrane keypad for programming data logger and monitoring the sensor readings at the site without the assistance of computer. These water level recorders are powered by solar panels with rechargeable and maintenance free SMF batteries, which are sealed with water and dust proof panels
