Superior Temperature Control & UniformityAchieve precise and consistent incubation conditions with the digital temperature controller, offering accuracy within 0.5C and uniformity of 1C across the chamber. The equipments ambient operating range (5C to 50C) ensures adaptability for diverse laboratory protocols, ensuring accurate test results and reproducibility.
Built for Safety and VersatilityConstructed with a stainless steel inner chamber and a mild steel, powder-coated external body, the BOD Incubator delivers both safety and reliability. ISI marked components enhance quality assurance, while its mobility on caster wheels allows flexible placement within laboratory spaces.
User-Friendly Operation & MonitoringThe incubators solid outer door with a glass inner view and LED display offers clear monitoring and control of experiments, while the 24-hour digital timer automates operational scheduling. Adjustable shelves provide flexibility for various sample sizes and experiment types.
FAQs of BOD Incubator:
Q: How does the BOD Incubator ensure precise temperature control during experiments?
A: The BOD Incubator features a digital temperature controller with LED display, allowing for highly accurate temperature management within a range of 5C to 60C and an accuracy of 0.5C. Its hermetically sealed compressor and polyurethane foam insulation work together to maintain consistent conditions, ensuring reliable experimental outcomes.
Q: What types of laboratory applications are suitable for this BOD Incubator?
A: Primarily used for microbiological incubation, Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD) testing, and stability testing, this incubator is ideal for research, environmental, pharmaceutical, and industrial laboratories requiring controlled temperature environments for sensitive processes.
Q: When should the adjustable shelves be utilized inside the BOD Incubator?
A: The three shelves should be adjusted to accommodate varying sample sizes or different experiment setups, such as placing larger flasks or optimizing airflow around samples. Rearranging shelves can also help prevent overcrowding and ensure even temperature distribution.
Q: Where is the BOD Incubator best placed within a laboratory environment?
A: Thanks to its caster wheels, the incubator can be conveniently relocated to suitable spots with access to a 230V AC power supply. It should be positioned on a stable surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, or drafts to assure consistent temperature control.
Q: What is the process for setting up the BOD Incubator for a test?
A: To set up, load samples onto the adjustable shelves, set the desired temperature on the digital controller, and use the 24-hour timer to automate the operation. Ensure the solid outer door and inner glass door are properly closed to maintain optimal internal conditions throughout the testing period.
Q: How can users benefit from the solid and glass dual door design?
A: The solid outer door provides strong thermal insulation, while the inner glass door allows users to monitor samples without disrupting the internal environment, thereby preserving uniform temperature and improving experiment reliability.
Q: Is there humidity control in this BOD Incubator?
A: No, this specific BOD Incubator model does not have built-in humidity control. Its design is tailored for temperature-regulated applications such as BOD analysis, which generally do not require controlled humidity.
